New Early Learning Center
A Bright Future Begins Here
Introducing Our New State-of-the-Art Early Learning Center
Gregg House is entering an inspiring new chapter with the construction of a modern, 40,000-square-foot early learning center designed to support the growth and wellbeing of our youngest learners. This purpose-built facility will directly address the critical need for improved spaces for our Preschool and Infant–Toddler programs, replacing aging buildings that have become increasingly difficult and costly to maintain.
With growing waitlists underscoring the high demand for quality early education and care, this expansion will allow us to welcome more children, strengthen our programming, and better meet the needs of families throughout the community.
More than a building, this new center represents a milestone for the next century of Gregg House. It reflects our continued commitment to fulfilling today's promises and building a strong, supportive foundation that will empower children and families for generations to come.
Key Features of the Early Learning Center:
Comprehensive Childcare Services:
The center will cater to over 332 children, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and kindergarteners, providing flexible age groupings to enhance developmental outcomes.
Modern Facilities:
Featuring 23 curriculum-based classrooms, the center will also include a specialized gross-motor suite, discovery center, S.T.E.A.M room, and age-appropriate outdoor playgrounds for each age group.
Dedicated Staff:
To provide the highest quality of care and education, our Early Learning Center will employ over 65 educators and aides, two program directors, a director of Social Services, on-site social workers, a family advocate, on-site medical staff, a certified cook, and maintenance and janitorial staff. This robust team will ensure that each child receives the individualized attention and holistic support they need to thrive—academically, socially, and emotionally.
Enhanced Safety and Sustainability:
The facility will incorporate advanced security measures, including keyed lock doors and surveillance cameras, to ensure the safety of children, families, and staff. Additionally, the building is designed with sustainability in mind, providing healthy, naturally lit, and welcoming spaces that promote well-being and environmental responsibility.
Family and Community Support:
Amenities such as a free family pantry, student support areas, and a parent and therapeutic meeting room will foster family engagement and community involvement.
